The Duplex Stainless Steel 2205 (UNS S32205/S31803) Seamless Equal Tee features a unique mixed microstructure of austenite and ferrite (approximately 50/50). This dual-phase structure provides a yield strength that is nearly twice that of standard austenitic stainless steels like 316L, combined with outstanding resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking (SCC), pitting, and crevice corrosion.
