C12200/TP2 Copper Coil is Phosphorus Deoxidized Copper (DHP), containing a controlled, slightly higher residual phosphorus content than C12000. This composition guarantees immunity to hydrogen embrittlement and provides superior weldability and brazability, making it the industry standard for systems requiring reliably sealed joints. While its electrical conductivity is moderate (around 85% IACS), its excellent ductility, resistance to water corrosion, and pitting make it the material of choice, supplied in coil form, for plumbing and refrigeration tubing, HVAC systems, and heat exchanger components.
