Q195 Carbon Steel Bar
Q195 Carbon Steel Plate is a Chinese national standard (GB/T 700) grade of general structural carbon steel known for its low strength. The "Q" stands for Yield Strength, and "195" indicates a guaranteed minimum yield strength of 195 MPa (for plates 16 ≤ mm thick). Due to its very low carbon content (similar to 10# or lower), this steel possesses excellent cold formability, high ductility, and superb weldability. Q195 plate is widely used for non-critical structural applications, sheet metal work, containers, and products requiring extensive bending, stamping, or drawing, such as pipes, steel strips, wire rods, and general components in construction and manufacturing where ease of fabrication is paramount.
