Hastelloy C-276 Coil is a thin-gauge, rolled form of the nickel-molybdenum-chromium superalloy known as one of the most universally corrosion-resistant materials available. It is prized for its exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress-corrosion cracking, as well as its ability to withstand a vast range of highly aggressive reducing and oxidizing chemical environments, including wet chlorine gas and strong oxidizers. Supplied in coil form, it is used to fabricate flexible, critical components such as bellows, expansion joints, springs, and seals in the most severe service applications within the chemical processing, pollution control, and pharmaceutical industries
